The Astrox 88S Pro is the successor to the well-known Yonex Astrox 88 S White / Red and Green / Red. These rackets have been developed for the spectacular and fast style of doubles, making it possible to take over the attack even more powerfully. Of course there is also a Yonex Astrox 88 D PRO version for the more subtle players!

This version, still for the controlling player at the net, combines a head heavy balance, 4U weight and stiff shaft and offers a lot of control and also power for players who are often on the net and need to hit the shuttle back quickly and accurately.

New technologies

Yonex has been able to make new progress in the development of the Volume Cut Resin. This groundbreaking resin provides a strong bond with less material and therefore weight. It is a very versatile resin with a durable and strong character, which reduces the weight.

Of course, the distinctive Rotational Generator System is still active in all these Yonex badminton rackets, with which the weight is optimally distributed!
And the Astrox 88 includes Yonex's E.B Cap, which increases energy transfer from the player to the racket by bending the shaft in a single direction, reducing shaft twisting and energy loss.
