Jessy Molier

Hello all,

My name is Jessy Molier and sponsor player of KW Flex and FZ Forza. I am 18 years old and play at TFS Barendrecht. I train twice a week at my club and in addition I train once a week at Badmintonschool Barendrecht. I also like to train youth players. Furthermore, I currently train at two clubs. On Saturday I give youth training to the children of TFS Barendrecht. On Wednesday evening I give training to the youth of BC Portland. During my training, I hope to make the children better technically, and I also hope that they become enthusiastic to continue practicing badminton.

How did I start playing badminton?

I started playing badminton when I was 7 years old. Both my parents also played badminton and I thought it would be a fun sport. I sometimes went along to league matches, so I had my first racket in my hand at an early age.  I started training with the youth of TFS Barendrecht and still play at this club.

What steps have I taken so far?

When I was 8 years old, I played my first youth competition and soon started playing youth tournaments as well. I was 10 years old when I started playing Junior Master tournaments. I immediately won first place in the MD and second place in the GD. From that year on I started playing a lot of tournaments and this often resulted in nice prizes. Last year I started playing tournaments in the 4. This season, I want to play tournaments in the 1. I now play competition in the second division.

Ambitions

I want to continue to develop as a player and as a trainer. Not only that, but I hope to play in team 1 of TFS Barendrecht within two years. Furthermore, I also want to continue to develop as a trainer, by following training courses and taking the experience of other trainers I hope to become a good youth trainer.
