Joran Borg
Hi everybody,
My name is Joran Borg, just like for you badminton is my hobby…. Okay, maybe that "hobby" has gotten out of hand with me. Every week I am on average 3 to 4 times on the track, even after all these training hours I feel that I still have a lot to learn.
I once started as a 13 year old boy at BC de Zwaluwen in Prinsenbeek, before I played tennis for several years. To date, I still regret not going badminton before.
Next season I will play 3rd division for BC Bavel, in this season I hope to take steps and grow as a player. I don't have an end goal, because the sky is the limit. Of course I hope to achieve the highest possible level.
In addition to badminton, I am busy with my Business Administration studies at Avans Hogeschool in Breda, for which I am now doing an internship in Dordrecht.
What am I doing now that we can't play badminton?
I try to maintain my condition as well as possible. I do this on the basis of fitness training in the forest, such as running, sprints in loose sand, footwork, etc. In addition, I do some strength exercises to keep my muscles intact.
Hopefully I can meet you all sometime and maybe we'll be on the track soon!
