Which discipline do you mainly play?
Competition - good footwork - mastery of strokes - fairly consistent
You train about once a week, and you feel comfortable during competition matches. At this competition level you generally play with nylon shuttles, and you try to improve your technique and tactics.
At this level you are familiar with almost all badminton strokes, but you cannot execute them all perfectly. Of course, you try very hard, and sometimes it goes very well, but sometimes the game can be uncontrolled. You are able to deliberately aim the shuttle at certain places and at an average pace. Other characteristics are: Smashes may lack power and weaker backhands.
You understand the footwork just like almost all badminton strokes, but the execution is sometimes a little trickier. Especially when the tempo goes up, you can't always execute it well. The positioning on the court is fine, but sometimes seems a bit uncontrolled because you are mainly focused on the shuttle. Still, you achieve a good level, if only because of your fanaticism and speed on the court.
Your consistency in strokes and footwork sometimes leaves something to be desired, but you do everything you can to improve this. The number of unforced errors is somewhat higher, but this should not spoil the fun. Being able to improve yourself is a challenge, and that is what you strive for.
In short, you regularly play competition matches and occasionally a badminton tournament. The badminton rackets selected here do not possess too much technology.
