Mathieu van der Velden
Hello,
I am Mathieu van der Velden and 20 years old. In everyday life, I am an electrician. One evening a week I still go to school, and I am an electrical technician.
I have been playing badminton since I was 7 years old. From 2009 until 2016 I followed training sessions at the badminton school RTC Breda and after that I started to follow badminton training at HBTC (Lars Heijblom). I also train at BC Shot in Dongen and together with my teammates I play the national competition in the 2nd division.
From 2010 until 2017 I have participated in almost all Dutch Junior-Master tournaments and I have also played many years in the Brabant and Dutch youth championships.
Now I play the Brabant and Dutch senior championships every year and about 7 to 10 other tournaments, including some Master tournaments. At this moment I play in level 1.
Prices:
- In 2010, I became Dutch champion for teams (BC Tilburg) (Youth under U11).
- In 2017, I became Dutch champion for teams (BC Bavel) (senior class senior).
- In the youth tournaments I have won many cups and medals.
Future
I get the best possible results in all badminton tournaments and leagues every year.
