The Yonex Astrox 99 Play is perfect for recreational badminton players or starting competition players. The racquet helps the beginning player hit the shuttle further back. What has been improved about the Yonex Astrox 99?
The main improvement made is the ability to quickly convert defensive actions into offensive strokes. The result is an improved Astrox 99, combining power with extended shuttle-hold for better defensive strokes.
The new Power-Assist Bumper technology, with a tungsten infused weighted bumper installed on the top of the frame, allows for additional leverage on the shuttle.
The well-known Isometric frame has been modified by reinforcing the corners of the frame and expanding the sweet spot.
