Yonex Arcsaber 11 Tour
The acclaimed ARCSABER series, designed for control, has been redesigned and returns to badminton courts. The new Arcsaber 11 Tour adopts the unique feel of impact and offers enhanced playability with an emphasis on shuttle pocketing for a controlled attack. Taking control of the court can take many forms, and for the Arcsaber it comes from the extra milliseconds of shuttle contact time. This allows for assertive and super accurate shots.
Difference between PRO and Tour version
The Yonex Arcsaber 11 Tour possesses the same features as the PRO version, with a few minor differences. The PRO version is always produced in Japan and this is considered to be a higher quality production. In addition, Yonex does not use the material ULTRA PE FIBER in the Tour version. The PRO shaft does contain this material.
Yonex Arcsaber History
With nearly 15 years of history and stunning performances by world-class athletes such as Taufik Hidayat (INA), the ARCSABER series has a unique position in the Yonex racquet lineup as a series defined by shuttle-hold. In 2007, when the series was first released, the ARCSABER 7 came at a time when repulsion-based rackets were the standard. Today, after years of research and development, shuttle-hold has become a key ingredient in giving an athlete confidence and their shuttle control.
What has been improved with the Yonex Arcsaber 11 Tour?
The new ARCSABER 11 has been improved with the development concept of "decisive control." Analysis of the previous model showed potential for improvement by increasing the stability of the frame while extending the shuttle contact time.
Used Yonex technologies
Frame stability has been improved by the new frame structure with a rigid structure at the top and bottom of the face, reducing twisting and unwanted deformation on impact. The new CONTROL-ASSIST BUMPER is a connected grommet piece, which is placed at the top of the frame that contains T-ANCHOR. These are micro-sized tetrapods, which help lock in vertical strings, reducing unwanted string movement and improving accuracy.
To increase shuttle contact time, the sides of the frame, as opposed to the top and bottom, are softer, allowing flexibility around the sweet spot. Also, a new technology, the POCKETING BOOSTER, is incorporated inside the top of the frame. This inner lining is a patented rubberized material that provides additional elasticity to the flex of the frame, increasing both shuttle hold and shuttle launch speed.
The improvements in the new model provide 6.6% more shuttle contact time and 3.7% more smash power compared to the previous ARCSABER 11 (tested by Yonex).
Used by world-class badminton players
The new ARCSABER 11 PRO will be seen in the hands of World No.1 mixed doubles player Sapsiree Taerattanachai (THA), Tokyo Olympics Bronze medalist in men's doubles Aaron Chia (MAS), and many other elite players on the tour. Will you take to the badminton court like these players? You can also choose the less expensive Tour or Play version.
